 Sophie is a 1997 Black Welsh Mare, she is for sale as our son has lost interest in the sport. She was with her previous owners for over 3 years, and took two girls to the top in every discipline in pony club. She excels in jumping and loves her work. She is bombproof in traffic and has absolutely no vices or bad habits. We have had her since february 07 and our son got rosettes at all outings to shows, but the novelty soon wore off unfortunately, and although he will be devastated to see her go he is more interested in Karate . She was our sons first pony after going to riding lessons for a while, but I would say she is more suited as a second pony as she is a forward going, push button ride. She never refuses a jump, she has never bucked or reared and has taught our son to ride. Luke has jumped over 3'0 on her and she is amazing in speed rounds. She knows her job through and through, she lives out all year but would stable, she loads and travels perfectly. She is a fantastic all round opportunity for a competent rider who wants to jump, she gets on great with other horses, and we have found she maintains her weight without a muzzle or strip grazing too much. She comes with a GFS saddle and bridle plus fleece rug and any other bits of hers as we wont be replacing her with another pony. She is bombproof in traffic and is great to lunge with or without a passenger, and is lovely on lead rein or to lead from another horse.

Dazy was born on 12th April 2008, her Dam is Lucinda Jane a Buckskin Quarter Horse (see mares page) Her Sire is Helmo our 100% Veiga Lusitano (see Stallions Page)
She is a very strong bold foal. She seems to have inherited her fathers neck, and mothers Quarter Horse rear and Pretty face. She has lovely flowing paces and exceptional balance.

We would expect her to mature to around 15.2" hh, and she will available at weaning around the end of september. She leads and wears a headcollar, and has no fear of people or dogs. She has a small star and other than that no white. She will be VERY dark bay and Stunning. She really will make a fantastic allrounder.

She is registered as a part bred Quarter Horse with AQHA UK.
