Welcome To Rosiglo Stud and Artificial Insemination Centre
Here at the Insemination Centre we can help in several ways, we can either collect, assess & transport chilled semen to any Artificial Insemination Centre or Veterinary Practise of your choice, precisely when you need it, from there on your AI technician or Vet will take care of your Mare. We also offer all inclusive packages with no hidden costs. You bring your mare to us & we will give her a paddock to her self and take the very best care of her during her stay with us, we will monitor her cycles, when the time is right we will collect & assess semen from the stallion and Inseminate your Mare twice during her cycle, approximately two weeks later your Mare will be scanned hopefully in foal, from this point you can take her home. If your Mare is not in foal we will keep her here & repeat the process again the following cycle at no extra cost to you. It's as simple as that. If it makes life easier for you we can even transport your Mare for you. All horses staying with us at the farm must be insured & must also have vet certificates to show clitoral swab testing clear of CEM & blood sample results testing clear of EVA, Insurance papers & vet certificates must arrive with the horses. Please ensure that you travel with your passports.
Option 2
If you should choose the second option you would bring your mare to us & we would do the rest. We would offer you an inclusive package which would include livery of your mare in her own paddock all collections & assessments of semen & all Inseminations. The only other costs you would inncur are the scanning costs to determine pregnancy. Should you opt to let us take care of the transportation of your Mare we would work out the cost on a mileage basis. We would keep in touch throughout the whole proccess, because if your anything like us you will probably be worrying about your Mare while she is away. As with all Mares in foal it is imperative that you get a second scan at around Thirty Five days to check for twinning and preferably a third scan at around forty two days to check the pregnancy is still viable
